College Eligibility - NCAA & NAIA Information
The graphic above gives a summary of NCAA changes in response to the educational challenges being experienced during the COVID-19 health crises. The FAQ form at the bottom of this page will further explain the college entrance requirements that the NCAA will hold students accountable for during the fall of 2020. Attention BHS Student-Athletes
There are many opportunities across the country to potentially continue playing your sport at the college level. Make sure that you are up to date with current NCAA/NAIA eligibility requirements for prospective college opportunities. Please see the following flyers for more information.

Follow the steps to quickly begin your profile page, then make an appointment with Coach DuSold in the BHS athletic department to get all the information you'll need to begin contacting colleges that may be a good match for your academic and athletic profile

You can take a FREE video course about NCAA requirements at https://nfhslearn.com/courses/61131/ncaa-eligibility. This course will outline the eligibility requirements, core class list and steps to take as you progress through high school.
NAIA Showcases For Various Sports Available Throughout The Year
If you would like to showcase your skills in front of college coaches from NAIA member schools, you can check on their website at https://www.naiashowcase.com/ for dates and locations here in the Southern California area throughout the school year.
9th Graders: Set Up A Free Profile Page With The NCAA
The ninth grade is a great time for students to start the initial-eligibility process by registering with the Eligibility Center. The Eligibility Center recommends ninth grade student-athletes register with a free Profile Page at eligibilitycenter.org.
Students should expect to spend 15 to 30 minutes to complete a Profile Page. If at any time the student wishes to play at the Division I or II level, they can transition to a Certification Account and pay the registration fee to begin the certification process. Students can find more information and resources about registering on our How to Register page.
2020-2021 SAT/ACT Test Dates
If you are planning to take an SAT or ACT test for college, remember to input one or both of the following codes to have your test score sent directly to your NCAA eligibility account (ENTER 9999) or your NAIA eligibility account (ENTER 9876).
