Principal's Message 2025-2026

Beaumont Students, Families, and Community, 

My name is Drew Scherrer. I am very excited and honored to be the Principal at Beaumont High School. This will be my 4th year as the BHS Principal and my 29th year in education. I am a husband and proud father of two kids. My daughter is a Speech and Language Pathologist. My son is finishing his second year of professional baseball as part of the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. My wonderful wife has been a teacher for over 29 years. 

As the Principal my number one goal is for BHS to become the school everyone in our community is proud of where we honor Beaumont Cougar traditions while paving the way to the future. A school where students thrive in a safe and secure environment where everyone treats each other with dignity and respect. 

“Kaizen.” Kaizen means continuous improvement. At BHS we always strive to be better. Kaizen just is a reminder to all of us, Staff, Students and Community, to do a little more to make BHS the high school where all succeed.

To brag a little about our students and our staff. On the 2024-2025 state test our students grew by 13% to 71% proficient in ELA and grew by 8% to almost 32% proficient in Math. These results make BHS one of the top high schools in all of Riverside County. Our goal is to be #1!
